Longton High City Learning centre took part in the Guinness World record attempt for a mass temperature reading on March 11th 2010 Our independent witness was a member of the local constabulary seen standing here with some pupils from the six schools attending at Longton CLC as part of the BBC School Report.

Thistley Hough science department has a new subject leader and new teacher responsible for KS3. Given these limitations, NH has provided guidance on initiating and implementing an effective course of intervention and boosters for Y9 pupils who will be sitting their KS3 exams in four months time.

Any teacher who trys to teach 20+ students how to register a blog, deserves a medal. Trying to find a blogging solution is proving difficult. Thankfully the kids at LHS are brilliant at I.T and picked it up no problem!!!city learning centre

Claire Ellis from the Millennium Maths Project, a Cambridge University initiative came along to Longton City Learning Centre to give three workshops to local pupils and staff.
