The Seminar Room
Situated in this room are boardroom tables which provide an excellent space to deliver presentations and can also be arranged to provide delegates with boardroom meeting facilities. It comes equipped with an interactive Whiteboard . Laptops are available upon request.

The Training Room

Situated in this room are twenty-two computers that are loaded with the latest software, a high resolution projector with DVD playing facility combined with an interactive Smart Board. As well  as individual computer stations, large circular tables form islands in the room to provide an environment that is conductive to group project work. Headsets complete with built-in microphones can be provided for distraction free computer based training, just ask for this facility at the time of booking. The training and Seminar rooms are equipped with a soundfield system to ensure an equal quality of sound throughout the rooms.

For your comfort both the training and seminar rooms are fully air-conditioned. The partition separating the two rooms can be removed, to create a space for larger parties. Both rooms have wirless internet access, allowing visitors the ability to check email on personal laptops.

The TV Studio

Learn how a TV studio works

The multi-camera setup in the TV studio provides an excellent facility for producing training videos, news-style programmes, music videos and interview based documentaries. Equipment includes portable lighting, live audio and vision mixing, computer graphics overlay and output to DV cassette or captured directly onto our Final Cut Pro HD editing suite for instant post-production after the shoot has finished. One world-class feature of our TV studio is the BBC developed Tru-Matte chroma key system; this enables you to blue screen video footage just like you see in the latest Hollywood blockbuster movies. Autocue functionality can enable the presenter to deliver perfectly timed lines to camera. The TV studio is available for educational and professional use.

Recording Studio

Our newly built music recording studio offers all the features you would expect in a modern recording facility. The industry standard ProTools HD system forms the centre piece for the control room complete with the Digidesign Control 24 digital surface mixing console. The spacious live room provides a breeding ground for musical talent, this comes complete with talk back system and ready to use instrument setup. Adjacent to the live room is a separate vocal pod ensuring that the lead singers recording is completely isolated from the bands performance. As an additional feature to the recording studio a purpose built practice room is available for musicians to warm up whilst the live room is being setup. The music recording studio is available for educational and professional use.

Media Area

Breakout area

If you want to create a podcast, edit digital video, create beautiful music or master an interactive DVD then the media area is ideally suited to your needs. This area comprises of seven of the latest Apple Mac workstations loaded with the most up to date media creation software, to compliment this scanners are attached to two of the workstations for computer graphics creation and all have access to colour laser printing facilities.
