During our “Transformational Technologies” day on February the 9th. Our Media Technologist – Phil Gregory,spoke about the uses of weblogs in the class room.

Demonstrating the Blogger Interface, Phil guided the teachers of Sandon High School through the interface, pointing out such features as uploading images, text formating and RSS feeds.

During the session teachers were also shown how to customise their Goggle search pages to include multiple RSS feeds, and informed about the potential of using standards compliant browsers such as Firefox or Mozilla.
