Phil, Media Technologist, told CLC staff today that the new Website is storming ahead. The basic design is being worked on at the moment, after the back end was built last week.
Phil says ” I decided to use ASP to give the pages for Interactivity. This also allows Staff to update whole areas of the site without any Web design knowledge”.
This should allow them to add new users and write and edit their own news articles, straight onto the website. In addition to this, users can upload their media directly to the CLC website immediately after a course has finished , thus allowing students to see their creations quickly.
